VISION SOFTWARE

Software based vision system is the interpretation and analysis of the pixels. The end result may be, from the measurement of a particle, the determination or reading a series of characters ( OCR ) through any process imaginable over the images.

The rapid evolution of the PC processors has managed to display images in real time and perform most processes in sufficiently short time , to enable them to solve vision applications in scientific and industrial environments, with fair weather expected results .

In industrial applications the speed at which measurements are made is critical because it must assess all parts produced in real time.

Control y Vision Artificial team develop their own systems to solve specific whole variety of situations where machine vision is needed software. Example application of dimensional quality control of a spring :

Within the scope of vision there are different types of standard applications for which we have given more than one solution . For this process we follow to control a process , quality control or perform specific functions are as follows :

                                                                                                                         1) Image Capture
                                                                                                                         2) Definition of the region of interest (ROI ) where measurements are made
                                                                                                                         3) Initialization tolerances
                                                                                                                         4) Execution of measurements
5 ) Generation of output signal
                                                                                                                         6) Process Execution
                                                                                                                         7) Next Waiting Room

These 7 steps are typically performed in less than 100 milliseconds time managing to reach production of 600 pieces per minute with standard equipment.
